bose_on_earSo my main Bose On Ear headphone broke :-(

Big problem because I wear them like 6 hours a day for increased focus and less interruptions.

So I went to best buy and picked up a pair of beats by dre ($325)

After being used to the comfort of my Bose…  apparently I was spoiled.

beats-by-dr-dre-thumb-480x439Although the sound was great.

Better Lows and louder at a lower volume settings…  (the sound was comparable to my Bose On ears.

So I ordered a pair of Bose quiet comfort 3 in hopes that they would be superior to my old Bose.

The qc3s get 2 thumbs down to me because you cannot listen to music unless the noise cancelling is turned on.

This means that if your battery dies… You are screwed!

So… I have to “worry” about keeping a battery charged!!!

No way dude :-(

quietcomfort3_1

Not tiki friendly. Too much stress.

So the surprising winner for me right now….

My old Bose on-ears that you can buy at Target do like $180

white-iphone-3g1st - My Current iPhone 16GB White 3g
2nd - Tie between htc mogul and treo

OK, by now you are thinking I am a big apple fanboy.

guilty as charged.

Why do I friggin’ love my iphone?

It does so much more… so much better than any phone I have ever had.

It is like an extension of my laptop.

Gmail - gmail is almost as easy as sitting in front of my computer… so I can keep my email box clean during otherwise “wasted” moments… anytime I find myself standing there and ‘waiting”.

I bust out my iphone and gmail is super easy.

I also keep up with about 50 RSS feeds via google reader.  Another really great mobile app!

-Who - most used app for voice dialing.

-sonos - to control my multi-zone music system at home

-Outpost for managing all my basecamp projects

-Evernote - for capturing all kinds of notes

-shazam for song id

-WRAL - local weather and doplar

-flixter for movie listing and to watch trailers

-iBlueSky for mind mapping (compatible with mindjet)

-iBlooger - for mobile blogging

-Banking - online banking (send money via bill pay from anywhere.  Use it in church to tithe!)

-quip - for sending photos via sms

- maps are good.  my sprint turn-bu-turn was better on my mogul (but I think appple is addressing this)

- facebook app is sweet

- music and video ( Its a video ipod.  need I say more)  I like to put all of my IM (internet marketing) material in there.  I like to always learn stuff.

*pandora - sweet music service

There is tons more to say about this… I will continually update this post.

How do you use your iphone 3G?

???
