Last summer I built my “Tiki Hut”.  I must say that this project was super-fun!

Update:  The thatch I bought didn’t last the winter.  It got brittle and broke apart.  I am in the process of finding some synthetic thatch to replace the crappy thatch I bought.

tip – I read on one site that their thatch is durable and can be cut without unraveling the entire roll.  I may try it.

Anyway, summer is here again and its time to build the tiki bar!
